For my loyal fans (Gene), I apologize for not blogging in so long! There are several reasons...to be discussed below!A week ago this last Thursday Rusty and I began our travel to Oklahoma for my cousins, Shelby, graduation from high school. There's Marley (above) on the trip down. On the way down I started to feel a little "fuzzy" on my skin all over. By the time we arrived at my dads I was feeling exhausted and "weird". When we made it to Rusty's parents and went to eat, I could barely swallow my food. I felt so nauseous and "off" that I couldn't wait to get back and relax. Leaving out the time line, I ended up back at the pool house writhing in chills, pain and nauseousness. I really wondered if it was a urinary tract infection since I had kind of felt like that when I had one before. My dad and his wife (who is an RN) brought out juice and water with instructions. Well, after I had drank until it was setting right at the back of my throat I ended up vomiting. People, I haven't vomited in over 12 years. That was very out of the ordinary. My dad had worked very hard to get off of work that Friday so we could spend the day together. I felt awful when I spent the whole morning at QuickCare. I was given meds for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I had a tick attach to me about two weeks prior to this and he was there for a couple of hours before I got him off. I had all the signs and symptoms, less the rash which they say usually by-passes adults. I finally made it to promotion after I had lunch with dad. Here's the second LONG part of the blog.
I have been nervous about going back ever since about a month or two after moving. I had several dreams that when I went back I was ignored and even asked to leave......by the very own people that were supposed to be my friends. At least they were when I left. I had thought some of them remained that way. Well, my dreams came true. I wasn't actually asked to leave, but I was ignored as much as possible. Shannon actually walked into a room that I was in to speak to Carole and then rolled her eyes and walked out when she realized I was in there. No loss there. Sharon tried her hardest to stay out of the room I was in until she couldn't no longer and then proceeded to be happy to see me...........after she had already seen me numerous times and ignored me. What matters most is that I did get to see several people that were happy to see me. What's even better, my dreams now pertain to me going back and not giving a damn about those few! I had one of those dreams the week we returned home and it sure was nice. We already have a semi-plan to return this summer and spend time with those that remained my friends! I knew who they were anyway, but I had always hoped I was wrong about the others. So be it.
After that I went back to hang out with dad. Of course I felt bad but we just hung out at his house. We went to Shelby's graduation and I only stayed for them to call her name.
I don't remember much of the whole day. I could hardly keep my eyes open.
Saturday was a little better. We went and visited with dad for that morning and then met Gene, Jeannie and Michael in Norman for lunch. We went and visited my friend Tammy and her husband and gossiped, as girls do. It was off to moms after that. All I cared about was getting a nice hot shower and relaxing. I started to feel a little better after that. The doc had said by Saturday evening I would start feeling better and he was right. Mom's neighbors were preparing to move to Germany and we were getting together for them. They have the cutest girls in the world. I will post videos of that later. I hate that my mom is without her "grandkids" now. She is very lonely and that makes me sad. We left the next day and I slept the whole first 3 hours of the trip home.
Then, Monday is when I got my migraine! Rusty had given Marley a haircut and I wanted to post a cute pic of a dog with a tan line! She usually has a "skirt" around the bottom and he shaved it off. Too cute..................Don't know if you can see the dark line below running across her midline.I had another Private Quarters party and it went GREAT.
Went to Andrea's baby shower yesterday. Georgia and Jett (my bestie Leigh's kids) celebrated their birthdays together yesterday. That was fun too.
Today Rusty and I went and put in an offer on a house. I am trying not to get too excited or too attached. You never know. The market up here is unbelievably high. Definitely makes us appreciate what we had in Oklahoma. I wouldn't trade this town for Chickasha in a heartbeat though.
Oh, I followed up with the doctor on Tuesday and he did lab work. Friday I went in and he had lots of questions about headaches, vision changes, fever and so forth. I am to call with any of those. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever was what it was. I am so glad that the doc in Chickasha treated me for it right away. I am a little leary about going geocaching and all that now. We have spray but it is still scary.
I think that's it. Not much else. I am sure there's lots but I think this is long enough! I will try not to put it off as long next time but I still didn't feel well until about Wednesday then I had the PQ party on Thursday and, well, then it was the weekend! LOL I have another party this Tuesday so I know I won't blog that night. Hopefully tomorrow night!

Once more, sickness is keeping me from blogging. I got a migraine earlier and am just now feeling better. I'm headed to bed and looking forward to this load of crap to be done with!

Short Post
I haven't posted much lately and here's the reason.................
Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
I will post more later, but let me just say that it has NOT been fun. I have not been that miserable in a LONG time. Back pain is miserable in it's own sense. Glad I got the meds for it and they are taking effect. I am hoping the rash bi-passes me as it does in most adults. We'll see in a couple of days.

Got My Grump On
My lovely sister-in-law (Dawn, duh) sent this to me in honor of my last post.....
It's purr-fect!
The Chinese must have helped! I am still a little irritable, or should I say not very patient. Becca came by tonight with Claudine and that was fun. Been getting stuff ready for the holiday weekend and that's about it!
I have a short week...........done around noon tomorrow. Yay!!

Shih-Tay
Let's just put it this way....it's only Tuesday and my week has been pretty shitty. Anything and everything is annoying the piss out of me. I am so tired of hearing I, I, I, I, ME, ME, ME, ME. And lots of other stuff but I'll be okay. And no, it's not PMS! That was two weeks ago! :o)
HOWEVER, my husband is the best in the world. He knows I have been down and he knows that I can get pretty low. Tonight I was still in my "funk" and we went to run an errand and then he had me go to the ATM. After that he pulled into my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant. He doesn't particularly care for it so that made it even MORE special.
Yeah, I got THE man. Can't even TRY to argue there. I love him!

A Tick-Less Weekend!
What a nice weekend. The weather seemed a little cool at first but it turned out to be pretty darn nice. Rusty and I drove up to Beloit to meet up with Becca for a little Geo-caching. Above is a picture of Rusty and I at the World's Largest Ball of Twine. Believe it or not, we even went to Paradise! Didn't get a picture though!
Above is a pretty cool little guy we saw as we were looking for a Geo-cache. It was after this that Rusty realized we needed to be ON TOP of the hill! LOL
That's Becca and Rusty with the Geo-cache. There were two spiders inside of the cache that just did not want to come out! So, we left them in their little home!
Here you can kind of get perspective on what kind of hill we were on. It is so neat to see all the fossils in the hills here in Kansas. Just goes to prove that Kansas WAS covered with water at one time!
Lastly, here is a picture of me and my friend Becca. She recently shaved her head in honor of her mother who has cancer. I got to meet her while we were in Beloit and it was an HONOR!! One suggestion..........kick them out and get some damn rest! LOL I wonder if maybe she might read my blog so I will say hello!!!
That's about it. We watched the Grey's finale last night and it was good! Tonight is Desperate's finale. I really don't like being tied to a TV for 2 hours though! I have some party invitations to run to a hostess this afternoon.
Oh! I had my launch party for my new business this last Tuesday and I must say it went well. My main goal is to get the word out and host parties and I scheduled 4 off of my one!!! And, I have a catalog party starting this week in Oklahoma thanks to my bestie Tammy! I am super pumped! Again, if you are interested (who wouldn't be?) go HERE. Luxury comes at what price?? The featherbeds we sale go for $1000.00 other places. Plus, at 68 cents per day for one year how can you put a price on an excellent nights sleep?? Turning out to be quite the saleswoman, huh?? LOL I don't jump on bandwagon's and I DO NOT support something I don't believe in! You have to see it to believe it! Seriously, send me an e-mail. I can go anywhere!
Well, I think I hear a roast calling my name to be checked on. I also hear laundry yelling at me. It has to yell because I tend to ignore it....ha ha.
Here's to a short week so I can go visit in Oklahoma! I am sure these first two days of work will make it feel like a whole week of work! Both doctors in! Geez! Ok, my friend Staci came to visit before I said good bye so here I am.....Good bye and have a blessed Sunday!

What A "Tick-full" Weekend!
Spring is here and the ticks are in full force! Friday when I got home from work I just relaxed because I had felt bad all day. It was nice to just kick back and not worry about anything.
Rusty had a full day of geocaching planned out for us on Saturday. We went to a couple of different lakes/ponds just north of town. Marley got to go along and she sure was glad.
The only bad thing.......TICKS!! We would be walking and I would look down and see 3 or 4 just crawling up Marley's back. So, every time we would get back to the truck we would do a quick tick check. Rusty took advantage of some great photo ops that he asked me to pose for.
I honestly feel that was when the ticks started joining the party! We also got the good ole truck muddy and Marley got a little muddy too!
We had a great day. My headache almost ruined it but we stopped and got some medicine and that helped. We drove past a house we really, really like and dreamed about that again.
Oh! I just remembered! One of the conditions of my new laptop were to sell a couple of high priced items we had to get rid of. Well, I had told Rusty I sold the fireplace but he didn't realize I didn't have the actual check yet. Him, being the great husband he is, went and got the computer that very day I texted him about the fireplace. So, I put a rush on collecting the money and, ta-dah!, I stepped up to my end of the bargain. One more thing to sell but it is smaller. I think my friend Becca is interested in the other laptop. Anywho................
Today was a rainy day all day. I ran to Wal-Mart to grab some things for my launch party on Thursday. Still don't know for sure how many people will show. Plus, some of the prices scare away people but it's when you feel and touch and see the product that you realize how worth it everything is. Either way, we'll just have to see how it goes!
Sunday is almost over and I don't want it to be. At least we had a great weekend. Only 5 more days and we'll have another one!

Hello Blog, It's Been a Long Time.......
I haven't blogged in a while. I have been so busy since receiving my Private Quarters items on Tuesday. If you aren't sure what I am talking about go HERE
I got all my items in on Tuesday, as stated above, and went through and checked for accurate shipment that night. Every time I picked up a sample swatch I would say "ooh, feel this" then I would pick up another one and say "oh my gosh feel THIS one!"
Everything was so awesome. I really hope I have good luck and I just have to get the word out. I have no doubt it will go over well if I can get people I know to tell people they know!
Wednesday night I came home and tagged all of my items and did some catalog shopping. We got a special deal on a deluxe featherbed and Rusty put that on the bed and it is unbelievable. Way better than the standard. I am excited to be able to complete my "seven layers of bliss" on my bed here at home. I need two more layers....the comforter and duvet cover. Speaking of which, I need to send my mother-in-law a catalog so she can order when we come down this month! I plan on taking all of my samples with me too!
Today was a rough day. I woke up not feeling to great (headache) and just completely out of it. It was a LONG day. There have been a couple of people that have been nasty sick at work and I don't want it. As run down as I felt I was worried that I might be coming down with it. I am going to make sure to take some vitamin C tonight before bed!
My doctor called today to let me know that they were going to call the Abai Clinic in Wichita to set up a consult regarding my back. I am slowly getting back to where I was with the pain. I have also noticed returned muscle tension in several areas. The ones occurring in my neck and shoulders are causing my headaches again. Amazing that I didn't have ANY of that when my back wasn't hurting after the injections I got. I keep meaning to download my MRI pics and post them. Some keep trying to tell me about all of these alternate solutions but when you are lacking part of an intervertebral disc and your transforaminal opening (where your nerves branch from your spinal cord) is too narrow and SMASHING your nerves.........there isn't much that can be done without surgery. You can't regrow a disc people!! I am tired of trying to cover up the pain with meds and other solutions. I want it fixed! So, that's that.
Sounds like Rusty has a big weekend of geo-caching planned. I am probably going to head to bed soon so I can try and feel up to it. I am hoping to get a shoulder and upper back rub..........we'll see.
That's it for now!

Our First Big Fight :o(
I sat down after dinner and Rusty said we needed to talk. We were going to have our first big fight. Great.........and then it began.
R-You better quit pulling all the covers!
T-Well, it's because you put those f*&king flannel sheets on there and I HATE those!
They stick to my clothes when I roll over or move!
R-You were getting better at that. (not sleeping in FULL clothing, pants and shirt)
T-I know but I get cold!
R-I'm gonna start throwing punches.
You can go change the sheets if you want.
And, folks, that was it. It was rather comical. I am so blessed that my husband and I don't fight. We have had FEW disagreements and that was what they were, disagreements. NEVER have we yelled or argued uncontrollably. We have DISCUSSIONS. I have the best man in the world.
And that's my blog for tonight......how I am married to the most awesome guy ever!

Crazy Obsessed
When I decide to do something I tend to dive into it and obsess! I have done just that this past weekend. I am super excited but still super scared! I don't want to go into too much detail yet because I am still waiting for all of my supplies to arrive. And NO, it's not one of those sex toy gigs! LOL
This weekend was pretty boring, according to Rusty. He was on call so we couldn't really do anything. We watched a couple of movies and then did some cleaning today. My friend Becca called and we took a stroll through Hastings and then ran to Wal-Mart for some items. We had a good time!
Not much else. It was a good weekend and much needed after Thursday and Friday at work. They seemed to be non-stop days, especially Friday with 2 scribing and 2 checking in. No time to sit in between since there was always someone to be checked in!
All right, just finished my conference call for my business and I need to get ready for bed. I got a book light so maybe I can read more than one chapter tonight and not bug "the king"!! LOL Nice to know that I'm his queen. We are in L-O-V-E!!

My New Business......So Far
I am not going to divulge too many details yet as this is in the beginning stages. I have recently started a "part time" job that is pretty much from the home. I haven't received everything yet to truly get started but it should be here this week.
I am really wanting to earn a second income and I am hoping this will be a good way to start. It doesn't take up too much personal time and is fun. I just have to dig deep into my creativity.
As soon as I get some dates set and everything I will lead into it further. I have a website already but am going to wait until I get everything going a little more!
Wish me luck!
