I have so much to post about but it is late and I am ready for bed! One thing............
For NUMEROUS reasons, I am so glad I quit smoking. No matter how bad I have been craving lately it is completely NOT worth all the hassle and STINK! LOL And, no, I am not one of those smoker haters now that I have quit. I endure it because I understand. BUT, I am still glad I quit!
Stay tuned for the awesome Eli!

Happy Birthday To...........
Me?? Yes, it's me. I am officially 32 today. Wow I am old! But you know what?? Makes my parents even older! LOL Now, if I could only lose the number of pounds that I am old that would be great! Either way..........here I am at 32.
Today was nice at work and I got flowers from Rusty and again from my dad and step-mom. Not a repeat of the half dozen roses but some beautiful purple carnations. He likes to make sure I get something on my birthday! I have never seen a purple like that. They are beautiful! Rusty's roses in his bouquet smelled awesome! I couldn't get Melesia to keep her nose out of them! LOL
I went at lunch to let Becca's moms dogs out and when I pulled up I saw this on the door.
She is such a great friend to have and she has awesome kiddos! Granni and Boppa better watch out though..............Mojoe and Scrappy liked me A LOT!!
Scrappy surrendered COMPLETELY to me. I even got kisses! And Mojoe was happy with me too! They are too freaking adorable. Every need an alternate babysitter I'm your gal!
After work Rusty and I went to Ellis to get my hair cut and I LOVE it! Tina did such a good job and she is so nice! Definitely going back there!
We then stopped by Wanda's so I could help her with her computer and that was fun. She's always fun! We then were on our way to eat when the storm brewed up. It was pretty awesome!
We ate Whiskey Creek and here I am , getting caught up on stuff! I didn't have much time at home this evening but I had a great evening.
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, cards, and flowers. I am so blessed.

Enjoyed A Nice Evening of Peace and Work
Yep, you read that right.........peace and work. I did not get home from work and errands until 6:30ish or after. I had so much I wanted to accomplish this evening. Rusty was gone all evening at a football draft so I had the entire house to myself. Not once did the TV come on. Not once did the radio come on. Only once did the home phone ring. I got a text from Rusty and a missed Birthday phone call :o( from my sister-in-law. Quiet, yes. I loved every minute of it. It's now midnight and I need to get some sleep. I waited up for Rusty and then showered. I got a lot of my list done but there are still some loose ends I hope to tie up tomorrow. Can't wait to see Mojoe and Scrappy again!! Makes me feel great to know someone trusts me so much with the care of their mother's two *hesitant* dogs. They are the cutest weenie dogs ever! Might just have to sneak my camera in!
Come morning time I will be another year older. Yikes. I was recently going through pictures from Rusty and I's younger days (lol) and boy have we changed! The two pics below are of us on our honeymoon. I really thought they were from before that but boy am I wrong! The date says 9.12.02~five days after our wedding. This is in Florida at Disney World I am assuming. A dolphin and whale show!

I'm Gonna Be 23 on the 52nd!!
Friday I was greeted from lunch with half a dozen roses at work. Rusty you think?? Nope! They were from my step-mom and dad. She must have done some serious talking to get roses sent! They are beautiful. Only thing.............my birthday is Tuesday! When my dad called and ordered them he said "Tuesday" and they thought "today". Either way, they are great!
We had a great evening Friday playing Rock Band and teaching Staci how to play. We then went and rode 4 wheelers out at the shop and had a blast. Can't wait to do that again!
Rusty and I found some recliners on Nextech that were practically brand new. We were needing some for our theater room (see previous posts). Only thing is that they were in Atwood which is over 2 hours away. So, guess what we did on our way there??? Yep, we geo-cached and also got some pics!Sunflower field! We waited a little long to get good pics. Too late in the season! Stopped at Prairie Dog State Park for a cache also!
Rusty being cute! That was the extent of our weekend. Today was just sitting around testing out the recliners! I keep hoping for a full weekend home here soon, but that doesn't look like it's in our near future! With our 7th anniversary coming up and family reunion.......well, we're "on the road again. just can't wait to get on the road again!"
Final Thought:
These two are often confused upon meeting people:
1. someone having confidence
2. someone thinking their shit don't stink
There's a BIG difference! Let's hope you fall into the first one!
Nighty night!

??
Sometimes it just seems like things aren't quite fair. What is fair? Who decides? Are some not deserving? Are some not as deserving as others? What will it take? Is it even possible?
Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts...................my mind is ready for the weekend.
See ya.

Renewing My Gusto!
I have been partaking in a training session on my part time job (business) and I am renewed!
I have to get the word out on our great products. If quality is as important to you as it is to me, give me a call!
Not much else. We got our projector up and running in the den above the fireplace and watched Big Brother in there tonight. It's pretty awesome! Here's a pic....................
This is right in the middle of getting it set up so it's kind of a mess. We also took down some paneling that was on the wall. Needs a nice coat of paint and we'll be set for movie nights! It was pretty freaking awesome for football games too!
So, that's about it. I got several things accomplished tonight that I wanted to. Bad thing.......it's 10:00 and I have yet to shower and dry my hair. Tomorrow is Oculoplastic day and I have to be there at 7:45. Wish us luck!

Our Saturday
Rusty had to work this morning doing inventory so he didn't get off from that until about noon. He and I headed to Salina so I could go to Hobby Lobby. Of course we stopped for a couple of geo-caches while on the way and back. We also saw some pretty neat things and some great photo ops. Below is one of the neatest things we saw...........
A man goes nowhere without his best friend huh? He got his lil' buddy all tied down then suited up himself.
They headed onto the highway and then we passed them (below).
The little guy seemed to slide to the side a little bit but he was hanging on!!
I love to take pictures and love to try to get good shots. These are "okay". I was losing my light! Rusty and I ended up in Hutchinson to see what they had which isn't much!! We then came home through Lyons and up to Russell then the interstate to Hays.
Another photo op for my hubby.
If only we were rich and he could actually have a farm!!
A forest or a milo field?? LOL! The clouds behind were beautiful!
See? There was a beautiful cat out there somewhere also. Rusty had seen him first and informed me that I could NOT take him home!
Rusty finding a geo-cache.
I like both of these pics but Rusty likes the top one more. What do you think?? Neither?? I figured you would say that!
And here's my baby in the milo field. Not near as awesome as the wheat field. I have yet to get a corn field or sunflower field but I know where some are!
We had a great talk (I think) on the way home. Shortly before our seventh anniversary I learned that not only was he not "my type" but I wasn't "his type" either! I wasn't supposed to be a "relationship". You never know what you are gonna get into! I believe one of the first things I said to him was "I don't like cops".
Moral of the story..................give it a chance, take a shot, and never settle!

He Missed The Pool Too!
Looks as though I'm not the only one missing the pool! Actually, Rusty had promised me a pool AFTER a kid. I told him he must have got a great deal on this one and he did. It was FREE!!! It was in the shed out back and he found it last night when he was cleaning it out. He surprised me with it today. It was so refreshing to go lay out back in it and it was just the right temperature for me! That's the one gripe I have about a bigger pool..........too cold most the time! I do miss our deep in ground pool though but this is perfect for now!!
Last night two of my favorite girls came by and kidnapped Marley and I while we were coming home from our walk. We went and ran an errand and then they came by and hung out for a bit.
Here's Marley in her awesome new harness. It is a mesh like material and it looks as though it is super comfortable for her. It is also a "step-in" harness. So easy!!
Lastly, here is the view we see most of Keiko. Him walking away! J/K
It's just usually what we see (status post neutering!) when we have company. He's a shy guy!

Mole Asses and Bass Turds
My title has nothing to do with anything other than the hilarious conversations we have on the way home from satellite. It's funny!!
Not much going on these days. LOL
Still lots of little things we need to be doing and Rusty has done a good job of working around the house. I on the other hand, was wore out from last week and still haven't caught back up! Today when I got home from satellite it was about 5:30 so by the time I got dinner finished and we ate it was about 7:00 or so. I then submitted my PQ order and decided to walk Marley. On our way back we ran into Leigh Ann and Georgia as they were on their way to the bank. They stopped by to load up Marley and I and we went for a ride with them to the bank and back. Came home and they hung out for about 20 minutes then here I am! It is a quarter to ten and I still have to shower. No biggie though.
I am hoping to take a late lunch tomorrow and go with Leigh Ann. I have slacked on getting over to see them once a week but with the house and all that jazz time has just gotten away.
I know, I know. I gotta find a different excuse! LOL

I am not doing much tonight other than......Embracing My Why.
That means I am working on my business. Plenty of parties for October, I need one or two for September!
I did get dinner cooked and a party order submitted in between there! Also found out that we won't be getting to show our house to my in-laws when they are on their way to Colorado. :o(
Maybe next year!

How About Some Catching Up?
Well, I seemed to have skipped quite a bit here lately, but for a few things..............
I made homemade fried chicken a couple of weekends ago. It turned out okay and as Rusty put it, for the mess and time we might as well go pick some up somewhere. True. But I always wanted to try! It may look burnt but it wasn't. I like all the crispies!! LOL
Rusty and I also did a little geocaching this weekend on our way to the benefit for Becca's mom. When he walked through this one field there were tons of grasshoppers. I couldn't see him and all the sudden he comes hauling ass out. I just knew something was chasing him! I had the camera ready because I wanted a pic of him and all the grasshoppers but what I got was this. Just need the terrifying look on his face and it would have been a classic. I had flip flops on so didn't get to venture out on some of these.
Here we are at the geographical center of the 48 states.
It was neat and on the way out I happened to look up and see this........
Rusty walked right underneath and didn't even see him. We both did a couple of times! Stories on the geocaching site talk of families dogs chasing him in fun, people feeding him, and him following them around. He is the "guard" of the cache. It was pretty neat.
Today was a fast day at work. We were busy and it went pretty well I suppose. Looking forward to a more laid back day tomorrow and then satellite on Wednesday. See, the week is already getting close to hump day! ha
Tonight I feel at ease, peaceful and happy. Nice change after last week.
Looking for some September parties if anyone is interested!

Just Shut Up And Listen!
My title goes with many things. For instance...................
Shut up and listen...................
to how selfish you sound!
to the instructions you are getting!
to how self absorbed you are!
to what he is saying!
already!
See? So, many different ways it can go. That's not all of them, but the main ones! Can you tell I have short fuses this week? It has been a long time coming. Finally fed up I guess!
This last week was horrible. Thursday was LONG and Friday was too. Being there for BOTH of them just damn near kicked my butt. I want my Wanda back!
Friday evening we went and got a sno-ball and drove around. We ran to Victoria just to "view" what this whole Herzog Fest was about but we didn't stop. Not much there I guess, it just didn't look interesting to us at the time. We ran by Rick and Renee's and talked to them a bit.
Saturday was a wasted day going and looking at furniture for our den/theater room. We have a projector that puts an awesome wide screen picture above our fireplace. It is nearly 90 inches! We nixed the whole furniture thing. Other things are more important! We went to Rick and Renee's for a bbq and had a great time visiting! We came home and watched "The Dark Knight" which was pretty good but seemed so looooooooooooooong. I don't know if it actually was, but it seemed like it.
Rusty and I went to Beloit today for Becca's moms benefit. She had such a great turnout and I am anxious to hear of the funds that were raised. I think it will be quite a bit! I sure did want to bid on the kitty though. There was a kitten that had been abandoned by it's mother that was brought by someone. When they put it up (kind of as a joke....mainly to find a home for it) NO ONE did anything. NOT EVEN A BUCK. What bothered me most about it is that it is a LIFE. A LIVING BREATHING being. How do you put a price on that?? Yeah, I know, it was a cat but still!!! I would have brought the cat home if no one would have took it. Luckily for Rusty, someone did. Me being an animal lover, it was definitely a very disturbing situation. I know, I know. So why didn't I bid on it? My husband was standing right next to me to make sure I didn't. He knows it would have come home with me if no one took it.
There are many more things that I am planning on blogging about, but not tonight. I gotta get my anniversary trip all lined up! Seven years coming up in September.............man!!! Seems like yesterday and I mean that in an awesome, damn I love my husband, way!

#^&(I&%^!!!!!!
I need to post, I want to post but I don't think it's a good idea. Too much on my mind that I would *type* my mind and that would NOT be good.
I am hoping for the best at work tomorrow. That's a lose/lose situation.

Rock Band.........
is the newest thing in the Winsett household. It is super fun. I never thought I'd say that........but it's a lot easier to enjoy if you know the song and are actually playing. I couldn't stand it to sit there and watch and listen to someone just click, click, click away. That was just guitar hero though. It's a lot more fun with the drums too!!
So, more to come soon! I am just enjoying not having to worry about doing anything work related when I get home from work!

With Age,,,,,,,
I have come to the conclusion that getting older makes you not give a damn about what people think of you having some good, clean fun. In the past, I would have never posted videos of me doing ignorant, silly things. Well, I got another one for tonight only it also includes my husband. Yes, even Rusty decided it was okay to act a little goofy and share it with the world! Gene, I think you'll enjoy this! Sorry the video is a little off center and you can mainly hear the clicking of my drums! Rusty didn't let completely loose but this is good for him considering it is on my blog!
Honestly, I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I do. I really, really like playing the drums and it is quite a bit harder than the guitar. Too bad Rusty wouldn't let me post him singing "Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi! Just kidding........I wouldn't do that to him! I didn't even have it on video.
This weekend was great. Rusty did an awesome job on my honey-do list. Only one major thing left. Can you guess? It starts with a D. Yes, dishwasher. He was so fed up with that. We just need a part of the (house) plumbing replaced then we are great. He tried so hard to get it working during the week that he honestly needed a break. Now if I would have completed my own to do list. Oh well, spending time with my hubby playing Rock Band was more important!
Rusty and I put up our second geo-cache Saturday. It is so creative and so awesome! We have had two people come find it already. I wish I could be out there (it's accessable from our alley) to hear and see what they say as they are trying to figure out how in the world to get to something that's on the inside of someone's yard without trespassing or climbing a fence!! Saturday evening we spent over at my friend Becca's enjoying one of Jason's famous steaks. We had such a great time and I really enjoyed being with Claudine and Eli. It does wear you out but it's funny how you can find energy when it's most important! It's also great to be around people who can still appreciate the love of a dog even if there are children involved. That's all I'll say about that............touchy subject.
Anywho, we had a great weekend and I am looking forward to having lots of fun with my hubby playing Rock Band. Now he has (needs) to start playing Wii with me again too! We have been so busy lately it will be nice to enjoy some game time in our house!
