I find it interesting that you can search "tara winsett blog" and find my blog that way. That's how it was reported after someone coming to my blog from a certain town searched that way. Pretty nifty that Feedjit is! I can see when, where, and how many times. Really interesting when other countries happen upon it!
That's it! I am pooper-doopered and hitting the hay!

Ta Da! A Blog!
Are you guys ready for some pictures? Man, it's been a blog in progress! Here's an updated picture of the author....ME! lol

We got a little snow here not too long ago. It didn't last long but we had some HUGE flakes coming down!

As I may have mentioned before, Garrett popcorn (Chicago) is my FAVORITE caramel popcorn. I always ask for some for Christmas but it's too expensive. Thankfully we got a small container of it at work from another office. No, I didn't eat it all!!

Here's how Bubba looks out of the blinds when we close them earlier than he would like!

I didn't have any pics of Marley Sue so I threw this one in. She LOVES her (MY) North Woods Throw!

Bubba curled up in his little house. He has been using it more lately, I guess because of the cold.

The scene of Thanksgiving...........table of food and football! I made a roast with potatoes and carrots, candied yams, green beans, dressing, deviled eggs, rice, and rolls. Rusty was a happy man!

Apple and pumpkin pies.

Jen came home from Colorado and us girls got together for Chinese!!! We had lots of fun! I love my girls. Leigh, Jen and me..............

Just in case you didn't know about my degree............................this is nice..........

Bubba LOVES the Christmas tree! I don't know if it's the "velvet" like skirt, the warmth of the lights, or both! If I can't find him, that's the next place to look.

Dad and Les brought up their old king headboard (dad's actually). It looks REALLY good in the bedroom! Just need some different curtains to look better. Les mentioned something about a matching chest of drawers so maybe some time we will acquire that and have a complete matching set!

Here's our Christmas tree. We went with blue and silver this year.

The new light dad and Les bought for us to go above the sink. Guess I failed to mention that they came up the weekend before Thanksgiving and spent some time and did a little Christmas shopping for us since we don't know if we are going back down there or not. I love the way the light brightens up the counter.

Here is a reminder of what the bathroom looked like when we moved in.

Here it is now almost completely done. I have some Private Quarters rugs coming and I also need to do some more wall stuff. Dad and Les also bought the floral bunches above the mirrors. I arranged them and added the bows. I thought they turned out pretty good!

Another before picture.

And another after. I LOVE the Upper Case Living frame I made hanging on the wall. It was originally meant for the bedroom but I think I will get something different there.

Tonight we watched Claudine and Eli while Becca got her hair cut. We had a good old time. They really liked my Tigger "peek a boo" box!

Especially Eli!

We watched the Witch movie too!

Eli..........such a happy boy. I did change a very stinky, poopy, diaper. Rusty was nice and helped hold the legs!!! Proud of my man!

So that's the last week or so in review!! I closed out the month of November with AWESOME sales for my business and have several parties coming up for December.
Ready or not..........Christmas is on its way!

Tooth, anyone?
It's been a while so here I am. I keep seeing the same locations reading my blog and figure they must be ready for a new one!
This last week was a good week I'd say. On Thursday I had to have a tooth pulled so I prepared by taking off of work on Friday. Let me explain why. The last time I had a tooth pulled (the one located directly below this one at the very back of the mouth) I had to go to an oral surgeon because it was so far down into the jaw bone. I have very long roots on my teeth. Well, this surgeon did give me nitrous but it wasn't working. I am (was) too nice to say anything so lets just say I remember EVERY bit of it. He couldn't get the tooth out. He jerked, pulled, jerked some more. I am not kidding, he was jerking my head up off the head rest. He ended up breaking the tooth out in little pieces. I had prepared to go to work the day after and had to call in. Based off of that experience, I felt better about being prepared to not be at work rather than calling in and being badmouthed and looked down upon. I guess it happened anyway, but that's the way it goes around there. This tooth pulling went well. He did have a little trouble pulling it out and I could hear it internally when it was coming out. *gross* He did comment on how long the roots were and even showed me. They are long, that's for sure. I felt pretty good all evening just really tired. I woke up with a terrible headache and some jaw pain. I was very glad to be able to rest at home and not be doing a lot of talking and so forth. My health is more important than others satisfaction. I have been struggling today with pain and irritation but I did have a tooth pulled for goodness sakes. lol
Saturday morning my dad and his wife came up to visit. We had a nice visit and they really liked the house. Dad commented several times on it which was nice. He forgot to take pictures though! They brought some of our Christmas gifts just in case we didn't come back to Chickasha. It's difficult to call it home, because for us this is home. I don't know if my father hates a place on Earth more than Hays, Kansas! Les and I also went and got a few more Christmas gifts for the house. Nothing major. We did have a nice visit though.
Today was a nice nap day and lots of reading for me. We watched a movie, which cut into my reading time! I am reading Stephen Kings new book "Under The Dome" and it is great. I love his books because they suck you in from the very beginning. I can see this one being a movie if they get it in the right hands and don't let them screw it up. Most of his books that go to movies get screwed up. Four that didn't were Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, The Green Mile, and Apt Pupil. There are a few more but they did a GREAT job with these! "It" was a great movie too but I hated the ending! Enough about that.
Not much else right now. Not feeling that great so I think I'll get off of here and read a bit. I also have some decorative things I may work on for my bathroom. I worked on it earlier in the week (before the tooth pulling) and have just a bit more to do. I'll post pictures when I mostly done!
Here's to a great weekend and a wonderful SHORT week ahead. Not so sure about the trip to Ness City for a party Tuesday night but I'm trying to get this business to take off so maybe I can make some lifestyle changes.
Stephen, darling, here I come!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Oh how I love the winter months with snow and a fireplace!
Rusty said he knows this is his little girl because she likes the fireplace. Every time we have a fire she goes and lays in front of it. When it starts to die down she goes to the recliner. After Rusty turns the logs and it perks back up she is right there! I love my Sundays....sitting in the recliner, football, just relaxing! I have sooo much I want to do here at the house but I have been so busy with parties and all it was nice! I am having guests this weekend (Dad and Les) so this week I will have to get busy!
This video is kinda sucky but you can see the snow falling at the street light. The ground is already covered too but it has slowed now. We were supposed to get 3-5 inches by morning so we'll see. Now, for the funniest part of this video..........I opened the door and just stuck my camera out to video. Came back in and sat for a bit and took care of some things. Rusty went to the living room and there was a cat looking in the window. He asked where Bubba was and I said he was in the house. I felt bad thinking it was a lost cat looking for a warm house and was about to open the door when Rusty said to turn on the porch light first. The cat was meowing and when I turned on the light it looked a helluva lot like Keiko! Son of a bitch, my cat ran out the front door when I videoed and had been out in the snow for a while. I am lucky he came home and it wasn't nice out because he'd still be prowling! What a horrible momma I am. Rusty said no kids for us after that stunt!!! LOL
Poor Bubba!
