Ok, so I know that the second one didn't really count!
The microwave that mom and Daryl bought us for the house came in this last week. We knew we were gonna have to either move the cabinet up or take it out completely to put it in. I got a text from Rusty warning me about him trying to work on the cabinet on lunch. Come to find out, the cabinet just eventually came all the way down. It was not salvageable. Here's a few pics.....the first one in which Rusty is included.
Minus the handy man...................
After all the work!
I really, really like it!!!! Thanks guys!
I can't wait to get the kitchen painted and the cabinets updated (probably by sanding). I have a certain color scheme I would like and it's well on its way!
Right now it is raining like crazy with crazy winds. I welcome the rain for our yard. Now we don't have to water!! Not much else. Hoping to accomplish a few more things this weekend but other than that.............we are gonna enjoy it!
See ya!

Ok, here goes.........
So, I have kept some of my faithful readers waiting in the wings. It has been a crazy July! I knew it would be a full month. Also, I always have an order of internet usage each night. E-mail, MySpace, Facebook, then blog. I just happen to get stuck on Facebook a little too long!
I had to look back and see if I had blogged about the fourth yet! That's how behind I am.
The weekend following the fourth of July, Rusty and I went to Oklahoma for his grandmothers 80th birthday.
Here's Marley on the ride down sitting on the best blanket in the world, the North Woods Throw.
Rusty's cousin Tara has the cutest little girl. She is so smart and well behaved!
We had a great visit and I was glad we went down that way. I also had a PQ Party (sort of) at my bestie Tammy's house. It was a get together with old school buddies!
Here is Christina and her beautiful little girl Reese!
Here is a picture of the gang that got together plus my stepmom!
My stepmom (trying her damndest to hold Reese!), Angie and her beautiful boy Kannen (?sp), Erica, Susan, Tammy, Me and Christina.
After returning home we had a week at work then I left on Thursday with my bestie Leigh Ann to go spend the weekend in Colorado with our bestie Jen! Here we are in the mountains.
And again in the mountains. I love this next picture and have it two different places!
We also met up with the fourth member of our high school crew, Mandy, while in Colorado. She was able to join us for a day of shopping around while gabbing back and forth. It was so fun!
Jen, Leigh Ann, Mandy, and Me
Here is the Stanley Hotel.....................what hotel the book "The Shining" by Stephen King was based upon. The second making of "The Shining" actually had some shots here I believe.
This is a picture of a beautiful rose at the hotel. I love, love, love taking pictures like this!!
The "For Sale" sign is out of the yard and we are moved in. We even have the garage able to park in now. We desperately need to get our ladder access to the attic installed so we can store stuff up there. There is still lots to do but it will come slowly. No matter how much I would like to just get it all done now, it's just not gonna happen. Too much money!!!!!
On the subject of the dishwasher.........my husband spent the last two nights trying to get it hooked up for me. This is how long he was in the floor like that. Marley got tired of waiting for us to go relax in the living room so she just nestled right in.
Bubba was also waiting. He just happened to do so on a damp towel used to collect water that wouldn't quit leaking. We know now what needs to be done and hope to have it all hooked up this weekend!
Lastly!!!!!!!!! I got my new products and catalogs for the Fall Season of Private Quarters. Unbelievable stuff guys! I am so excited. I have to start hard and heavy on the calling and getting some parties lined up. I know it seems a little pricey but when you see, feel, and own it you know it is worth the price. Even my husband is a believer!

Update
So apparently it is common for a dishwasher to come without a power cord. We just swapped them out and now we have a problem with the water hose coming from under the sink.
I just want a dishwasher back. Is that too much to ask!?!?
This is my life right now!

Aw Man!
I have so much to post but tonight it is about one thing..............a dishwasher.
We have one that came with the house but it is black. Well, we thought it quit working so we pulled it out and I got my heart set on a white one. Lo and behold it was the outlet. This dishwasher still worked! BUT!!! A friend knew someone selling a white Maytag (exactly what I need!) and we got an awesome deal on it. The "good friend" deal! The seller is remodeling their kitchen so we got in on it at the right time.
Tonight we get the dishwasher over here and get it in the house. We started looking for the power cord and............um.............there's no power cord. My guess is that the construction company just ripped the dishwasher out. The large screws that were holding it into the floor were still on it and everything.
So, I will continue to dream of matching appliances. At least a matching white Maytag stove (which I have) and dishwasher (which I want)!

To Tide You Over
Until I have an evening to just sit and type a long blog, this video will hopefully tide you over. I still laugh my head off when I watch it and it just goes to show that girls just want to have fun! Enjoy my stupidity! I know I sure do/did!

I know, I know.
I have been such a bad blogger!
My nights are spent getting the house ready for mom to visit while trying to get ready to leave for Colorado for a girls weekend. Found out mom is coming on Saturday now instead of Sunday and that kind of bums me out. I won't be back until Sunday. It has been non stop with moving two weeks ago, a trip to Oklahoma last weekend, a trip to Colorado this weekend, then mom visiting. I'm ready for a break! Mom's visit will be nice and laid back. I can NOT wait! I miss her so much!
Either way, I know I will have a blast this weekend and with all the stress it just might be what I need. I just wish I could spend our first "homeowner" evening with my hubby!
Satellite was great today. As far as I know all went pretty dog gone well. I'll have to ask tomorrow!
I promise when my life slows down I'll be more consistent!

Why I Blog
I blog because it is my release.
I blog because it keeps my friends and family in touch.
I blog because it allows me to vent.
I blog because it is my right.
I don't want to make it where you have to sign in to read it. This blog is for the benefit of myself, my family, and my FRIENDS. Not for the benefit of "acquaintances" or co-workers to be used in a negative way. This is MY blog. Enjoy.............................if you can.
Overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, worn out, on edge, unfocused, unsettled........that's where I am right now. Interact at your own risk. LOL
Maybe, just maybe, next week.

Long Time No Blog
It has been too long, I know. So much has been going on. Rusty and I moved the week of the 1st (actually on the first). It was a rough deal as we only had one day off of work and didn't get to start until 11:30. Either way....we are in! Never been so happy to see that sign. Even more ready for it to be gone and we can start doing some landscaping!! LOL
I don't know how long it has been since I had a scraped knee but I got one this last week. I was coming from the kitchen to the garage in the old house and just decided to skip a step. I had a griddle in my hands and landed square on my knees. By the look of my left one (pictured) I also skidded a little. Thankfully the griddle broke my fall, which in turn broke the griddle! I did pull my back a little and it suffered quite a bit from the move but I am THRILLED to report it's feeling pretty good! My knee on the other hand hurts every time I bend my leg! LOL It hurt too bad to even touch it with a razor, hence the non shaved area! Sorry!
Bubba was a little unsettled in the new place when he got there. This video was taken almost immediately after our first load. Not much in the new place and I knew the moment Rusty got there with him because his meow-er was LOUD! Here's a clip of my baby!
Keiko quickly claimed the spot by the vent and back sliding glass doors. He loves to look at all the bunnies and rabbits we have inhabiting our yard. There are 3 babies out there right now.
Wild West Fest was this past week. It is a four day event for the 4th of July with a carnival and concerts. Rusty and I only went on Thursday night for Tracy Lawrence. It was VERY good. Here's my hotty man!
Here's Tracy Lawrence!
The fireworks were on Sunday night since the concerts run late all the other nights including the 4th. They were AWESOME! The very beginning of the show was like Chickasha's finale. This is one of the best we've seen and we've seen some big city ones!
All in all, we had a great week! We were so busy and we were so exhausted all weekend. We worked non-stop every night. It was twelve before we got to bed on Tuesday, one in the morning on Wednesday and I think around 11:30 on Thursday. That's when the exhaustion started to hit!
More pictures of the house to come soon. Just waiting for a bit! I will say that I did not realize how much it felt like we were living in a small hotel room. It just wasn't a restful feeling. Maybe it's just because I got my whole couch in my living room now!!

I Promise!
Folks, I promise there is a blog coming your way! With moving all week and the all fabulous "Wild West Fest" here in town we are wiped out (and still busy!). There is still lots of work to do and I don't like having a mess BUT I AM SO TIRED! LOL
More to come on my scraped knee and aching back, I know you are dying to hear why those things are ailing me now. Ha
