Long Time No Blog

It has been too long, I know. So much has been going on. Rusty and I moved the week of the 1st (actually on the first). It was a rough deal as we only had one day off of work and didn't get to start until 11:30. Either way....we are in! Never been so happy to see that sign. Even more ready for it to be gone and we can start doing some landscaping!! LOL

I don't know how long it has been since I had a scraped knee but I got one this last week. I was coming from the kitchen to the garage in the old house and just decided to skip a step. I had a griddle in my hands and landed square on my knees. By the look of my left one (pictured) I also skidded a little. Thankfully the griddle broke my fall, which in turn broke the griddle! I did pull my back a little and it suffered quite a bit from the move but I am THRILLED to report it's feeling pretty good! My knee on the other hand hurts every time I bend my leg! LOL It hurt too bad to even touch it with a razor, hence the non shaved area! Sorry!

Bubba was a little unsettled in the new place when he got there. This video was taken almost immediately after our first load. Not much in the new place and I knew the moment Rusty got there with him because his meow-er was LOUD! Here's a clip of my baby!

Keiko quickly claimed the spot by the vent and back sliding glass doors. He loves to look at all the bunnies and rabbits we have inhabiting our yard. There are 3 babies out there right now.

Wild West Fest was this past week. It is a four day event for the 4th of July with a carnival and concerts. Rusty and I only went on Thursday night for Tracy Lawrence. It was VERY good. Here's my hotty man!

Here's Tracy Lawrence!

The fireworks were on Sunday night since the concerts run late all the other nights including the 4th. They were AWESOME! The very beginning of the show was like Chickasha's finale. This is one of the best we've seen and we've seen some big city ones!

All in all, we had a great week! We were so busy and we were so exhausted all weekend. We worked non-stop every night. It was twelve before we got to bed on Tuesday, one in the morning on Wednesday and I think around 11:30 on Thursday. That's when the exhaustion started to hit!

More pictures of the house to come soon. Just waiting for a bit! I will say that I did not realize how much it felt like we were living in a small hotel room. It just wasn't a restful feeling. Maybe it's just because I got my whole couch in my living room now!!
