A man goes nowhere without his best friend huh? He got his lil' buddy all tied down then suited up himself.
They headed onto the highway and then we passed them (below).
The little guy seemed to slide to the side a little bit but he was hanging on!!
I love to take pictures and love to try to get good shots. These are "okay". I was losing my light! Rusty and I ended up in Hutchinson to see what they had which isn't much!! We then came home through Lyons and up to Russell then the interstate to Hays.
Another photo op for my hubby.
If only we were rich and he could actually have a farm!!
A forest or a milo field?? LOL! The clouds behind were beautiful!
See? There was a beautiful cat out there somewhere also. Rusty had seen him first and informed me that I could NOT take him home!
Rusty finding a geo-cache.
I like both of these pics but Rusty likes the top one more. What do you think?? Neither?? I figured you would say that!
And here's my baby in the milo field. Not near as awesome as the wheat field. I have yet to get a corn field or sunflower field but I know where some are!
We had a great talk (I think) on the way home. Shortly before our seventh anniversary I learned that not only was he not "my type" but I wasn't "his type" either! I wasn't supposed to be a "relationship". You never know what you are gonna get into! I believe one of the first things I said to him was "I don't like cops".
Moral of the story..................give it a chance, take a shot, and never settle!
LOL but he's NOT a cop anymore! Sounds like my dad and Mark both applied to the pd back home...that should be something... Love the pics, tell Rusty he should have been a farmer!
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see Rusty standing in a field, I expect him to have a glove looking for a game.
