My mother has been here with me this week and we've been working around the house to get some things accomplished I've had on my list for some time. So, I don't get on the computer much and hope to more soon. Just other things I'd rather be doing and, honestly, I use my phone for e-mail reading and such. Doesn't help in the responding part though......
Monday Ryne and I both had our doctor's appointments. Not to brag, but almost in complete amazement.....I weigh 3 pounds LESS than before I got pregnant. In two weeks I have lost 32 pounds. That made me very happy! I am still on my blood pressure medicine until my next visit. My scar is healing nicely, nearly unnoticeable and the nurse commented that I must be a miracle healer. I was released to drive and everything else was great! Ryne, the little toot, gained a pound since he left the hospital and had grown an inch. We don't have to go back for 2 months. He's doing well and his sleeping is getting better. The last two nights I have only had to get up with him twice. There for a couple of nights it was nearly every hour to an hour and a half so we made some adjustments in his feedings and it's going a lot better. His little "fountain" goes off all the time unexpected during diaper changes and that has been a battle to say the least. Note to self: ALWAYS put that washcloth over it! :o)
Of course I think my little guy is just so handsome. Mom always said c-section babies were prettier. I'd love to have had a natural birth but what was safest for my baby was what I had to do. With the pre-eclampsia I didn't have much choice anyhow. How he got here doesn't matter, it's the simple fact that he is here.........perfectly healthy and perfectly perfect (in my eyes anyway). So, I leave you with a picture of my handsome little boy and with the hopes of more blogs soon! That is AFTER I catch up on e-mails! Family and friends have been neglected but I'm too in love with my precious boy to spend a lot of time on here right now. I know time will go fast (already has!) and I'm going to cherish every moment, kiss his little cheeks, kiss those beautiful feet, and talk to him all I can!
P.S. Gosh he's just beautiful!!
LOL The computer isn't going anywhere. Enjoy that family of yours. Before you know it he'll be peeing on your bathroom floor instead! ;)
