Smells of Spring, Late Nights, And Needles! Oh, and The Easter Bunny!

The smell while walking through a freshly stocked "garden center" is heaven to me. I love the smells from the plants, the water running, and the bright colors. This is the coming of Spring! I had planned to blog about this last night after my trip to Wal-Mart but I quickly ran out of time.

Rusty asked if I wanted to run the movies we had rented last weekend back to the store and I opted to ride along, with Mar Sue too. That turned in to a one and a half hour trip. Guess why??? Yep, geocaching. I am glad that we did because my husband found two that had been stumping him! Plus, the buffalo came over to drink from their water while we were at Frontier Park and Marley started growling. They definitely had her attention. *Note: I am kind of out of it right now, please disregard grammatical errors!* We got home from there and I needed to work on some (pointless now) stuff for work. It was then that I spent the rest of my evening on the computer and not for fun reasons! It's okay, I still got my Facebook time in.......just not my blogging.

The Easter Bunny ALWAYS comes, as does Santa. It's just a thing with me. There has only been one year that I think one didn't come....I can't remember. Even in my adult life, I still expect it. Nothing big, they just have to come. I was explaining this to a co-worker yesterday and she thought it was pretty funny. Well, I am a lot farther away from the Easter Bunny and Santa now. It makes me worry a little. When I got home from Wal-Mart yesterday, there was a box for pickup at the post office. I just knew I was gonna get to have an early Easter present! It just had to be the Easter Bunny! And......it was!!! Only bummer deal...............the box says to wait until Easter to open it! Damn, damn, damn! I just know there are some Peeps in there and I wanted some! I'll be a good girl............my husband is making sure. So, the moral of the story...............the Easter Bunny ALWAYS comes!

Today I had my last (of 3) transforaminal lumbar injection at the L2-L3 site. If I have unbearable pain before one year is up, it's off to see the neurosurgeon. If I get it back before after one year, I can do maintenance injections. I felt really great after the injection but starting having some pain around 4:15 or so. I left work around 4:45 and am now sitting on the heating pad. I think it's mostly muscular pain that I am having now.

I always feel that I deserve a little something after partaking in such a procedure so I am allowing myself to have my favorite Chinese tonight. It just so happens that my bestie friend here in Hays, along with her family, are gonna join us! Her and I are due some girl time soon though!

Here's to happy injections.....I hope!
