Mustard In The Carpet

My baby boy is sick! No, not Keiko, but Rusty.  We have already both had the flu that lasted a little more than a week and now he has a head cold.  Please, Please, Please don't give it to me!  I am hoping he can finally get some good rest and get better.

This evening it is nice and quiet.  Marley sleeping next to me, Keiko laying on the back of the couch. RELAXED. It is very nice.  Today for lunch Sadie jumped onto my plate of food and slid through the mustard then proceeded to jump on the recliner and down into the floor....with mustard on her feet.  *sigh* This afternoon when I got home from work it was nice to see Marley and Keiko playing together again.  They are happy and at ease.  We are too.

Unfortunately I have gotten into Survivor this season.  Becca, we can watch it "together"!!  I always liked Boston Rob so we watched it because of that.  Then, I got back into The Amazing Race because Jordan and hottie Jeff are on from Big Brother.  I am also enjoying Undercover Boss.  Good thing it's cold out so I can not feel too bad for watching some TV.

I definitely need to practice my violin more as the last 2 weeks at work have taken precedence.  I have 4 independent study courses to complete now.  I have finished one in a little over a week, the smallest book of the four.  I was excited today to start "working" on my actual book of business.  It was very enjoyable.

Looking forward to the weekend. Shutter Island comes out this weekend and Rusty has been wanting to see it.  I got 2 free movie tickets and snoball coupons for passing my exam, along with the raise, so I am taking Rusty to Shutter Island this weekend.  I also have a PQ party.  It will be my first party with the new catalog.  There are some AWESOME new things in it!  I also got $175 free merchandise for my sales in December so I am looking forward to getting some of the new stuff for free!

I reckon that's about all I have tonight.  I'm going to enjoy the peaceful evening.
