I had my ultrasound Tuesday and there's two in there! Two large stones in my gallbladder. So, this coming Monday this momma gets to have surgery. Yippee. I am excited to have that thing gone and this pain gone too! On top of that I am finally getting over what we are assuming is poison ivy. It just looks horrible right now. It's been a rough month or so around here!
On a positive note, Ryne had his 9 month appointment on the 7th. He weighed 18 lbs and 12 oz which is the 34th percentile. He has a big old noggin in the 86th percentile measuring 18 1/4 inches. Finally, his length was 29 1/4 inches in the 85th percentile. I asked the doctor why so many people comment how big he is and he said they are referring to his length because he's so tall. It had to be something because he sure isn't a chunky monkey like others his age. Maybe that's because the kid won't put ANYTHING in his mouth. Well, his thumb and then his elephant he sleeps with. I'm sure I'd be griping if he was but some food would be nice! The kid will just play with it. Never puts it in his mouth. Plus, he hates any solid stuff. Even the baby food purees that has little chunks of pasta or vegetable. HATES IT. So, we try and we try. Heck, if he grabs a fry or something when we go eat I let him have it. I'd give anything for him to put food, any food, in his mouth! LOL Then, he's finally doing some crawling. Just army crawling right now but he does get on all fours and rock back and forth some. He's got several teeth trying to come in and they are the most painful ones. He got his bottom front two first, skipped the top front two and is working on the ever painful lateral incisors and even some eye teeth (cuspids). He has been sort of a crank pot here lately but I also blame that on being gone too much. This momma is ready to stay home on the farm and work on her flowers!
The picture at the top of my blog is from his 9 month photo shoot. LOL, not really a photo shoot. I just took some pics myself. We'll do professional again at his 1 year mark. Gosh, where has the time gone. At nine months he'd been out longer than he was in since he arrived two weeks early.
I'll end with a picture of Rusty and his second wife. Honestly, I bet he treats her better than he'll treat me. (Just kidding babe!)
*LOVE* when you blog! I'll be praying your surgery goes smoothly and you recover fast!
ReplyDeleteI need to read your blog more often. Didn't know you had surgery. I had an ultrasound on May 17 too but it was at the chiropractor on my neck/shoulder - it was a wand that produces deep heat for my pinched nerve. Felt good but not sure if it helped much. Feel like I live at the chiro. Finally getting down to the end now, no appt for 2 weeks this time! Yay! Feeling much better.
